Education For Choice is pleased to announce an open day of its well-evaluated Abortion: Decisions and Dilemmas training programme

WHO:  PSHE Advisory Teachers/Coordinators, School Nurses, Healthy Schools Coordinators, Health Educators, Connexions Advisors, Teenage Pregnancy Coordinators, Youth Workers, Boys and Young Men's Workers, Social Workers, Sure Start/Plus Workers, Teenage Pregnancy Workers and Coordinators, Sexual Health Service Providers

WHAT:  A one-day multi-agency training course on abortion issues for professionals working to support young people around unintended pregnancy in education, health, and youth work.

WHY:  The course aims to raise awareness and understanding of teenage pregnancy and abortion so that professionals can facilitate constructive discussion of the issues and equip young people to make and act on informed choices; enable practitioners to provide clear information and supportive advice about abortion and pregnancy choices to young people; and to facilitate reflection of personal attitutdes and values and how they impact on professional practice.

COST:  Course cost is £110 per participant.
